Description
The Jenkins Living Center Staff Development Director is responsible to conduct new nursing staff orientation, certified nurse aide training, on-going departmental training, and development programs for Nursing Department employees and occasionally all employees of the facility. Also provides training to new employees enrolled in the Feeding Assistant, Medication Aide, and Certified Nurse Aide Trainee programs.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current South Dakota Board of Nursing licensure
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Registered Nurse

Two years of nursing experience; long-term care experience, preferred

Two years of teaching/training experience in nursing, preferred
